Hugh is celebrating the summer season with a four part River Cottage series. Catching up on his Landshare campaign, Hugh follows some of the stories from the amateur vegetable growers finding new land. Hugh has filled his gardens with strawberry patches that he hopes will ripen in time for a massive strawberry fete for 500 people.
Back in the kitchen Hugh will be whipping up seasonal delights from the garden and the sea. From pea shooters, parsley pesto and potted trout, to roast potato gnocchi and goat’s cheesecake with gooseberries, all washed down with home made wine and beer.
